Refreshing Phase 2 ice lolly on a quark base with strawberry, ready in the freezer without an ice cream machine.

10 min totaal 2 porties 210 kcal p.p. 22 g protein

Cool off with this refreshing quark ice lolly with strawberry, which you simply make in the freezer without an ice cream machine. The creamy quark is marbled with a fresh strawberry puree, for an ice lolly that tastes both light and fruity.

This ice lolly fits perfectly within Phase 2, where a little fruit gets space again. The lean quark and protein powder deliver over twenty grams of protein, making it a smart choice within a protein diet, whilst the strawberries provide natural sweetness and a modest amount of carbohydrates. Thanks to that protein-rich foundation, your satiety stays on track, even when you fancy something sweet and cool.

Lovely with a few fresh strawberry slices or a pinch of grated pure chocolate as a finishing touch.

Zo maak je het

  1. Blitz the strawberries with the honey and vanilla.
  2. Mix the quark with the protein powder until smooth.
  3. Stir through the strawberry puree for a marbled effect.
  4. Scoop into a container and freeze for at least 3 hours.
  5. Leave for 10 minutes to soften before scooping.

Bewaren

Keep the ice cream for up to 1 month in a well-sealed container in the freezer. Let it sit for 10 minutes at room temperature before scooping so it stays creamy.

Variatietips

Swap the strawberry for raspberry or mango for a different fruit flavour. A splash of lime juice gives the ice cream a fresher, zippier tone.
