Protein overnight oats with apple and cinnamon

Prepared protein overnight oats with apple and cinnamon, ideal for Phase 3.

7 min totaal 1 portie 380 kcal p.p. 28 g protein

This protein overnight oats with apple and cinnamon you prepare in the evening in a few minutes, so you can eat straight away in the morning. Oats soak in lean milk, grated apple and quark into a soft, creamy mixture, while vanilla protein powder and a pinch of cinnamon give it a naturally sweet, cosy flavour.

In Phase 3 you can use whole grains more freely, and these oats do that cleverly. The oats and apple deliver fibre-rich, slow-release carbohydrates that give you steady energy, while the protein powder and quark bring the protein content to nearly thirty grams. That ratio between complex carbohydrates and protein creates a long, stable satisfaction and makes this breakfast a natural choice within a protein-rich diet with more grains.

Lovely with a handful of walnuts or a spoonful of apple sauce on top, and an extra pinch of cinnamon for those who want the warm flavour a bit stronger.

Zo maak je het

  1. Mix the oats, protein powder and cinnamon in a bowl.
