Grilled salmon skewers with sweet potato
Rich salmon skewers with sweet potato provide the carbs that suit Phase 3.
Grilled salmon skewers with sweet potato are a golden duo from the grill. The salmon becomes juicy and, thanks to smoked paprika powder and lemon zest, gains a smoky, fresh character, whilst the sweet potato turns soft and lightly caramelised. A hint of fresh dill finishes off this rich and protein-rich dish perfectly.
For Phase 3 of your protein diet, this is an ideal meal. With around 38 grammes of protein from the salmon and the good unsaturated fats, you get a nourishing foundation, whilst the sweet potato provides the complex carbohydrates that are more freely allowed in this phase. That combination of protein, healthy fats and slow carbs delivers sustained energy and a deep sense of fullness.
Lovely with a fresh mixed leaf salad, grilled asparagus or a dollop of yoghurt and dill dip alongside. That way you create a satisfying and colourful plate that fits perfectly with your protein diet.
