Edamame snack bowl with sea salt

Warm edamame with sea salt and chilli, a quick protein-rich snack with few carbohydrates for Phase 1.

This edamame snack bowl with sea salt proves that a simple snack can also be refined. The young soya beans in the pod are naturally surprisingly protein-rich and, with coarse sea salt, chilli flakes and a touch of sesame oil, gain a premium snacking character. Served warm, this is a bite you can enjoy peacefully, pod after pod.

In Phase 1, edamame is a strong choice: it delivers plant-based protein with relatively few carbohydrates and plenty of fibre, keeping you satisfied for longer. This combination makes it an ideal snack within a protein diet, as you satisfy your hunger without losing balance. The protein supports your daily target whilst the fibre creates a feeling of fullness.

Lovely with a fresh dip of lean quark or as a protein-rich snack alongside a glass of sparkling water with lime.
