Baked oats with chocolate
Cake-like baked oats with chocolate and protein powder, balanced breakfast for Phase 4.

These baked oats with chocolate have the soft texture of a warm cake, but nourish like a hearty breakfast. Melting pieces of pure chocolate and a full cocoa flavour make it a real treat. A protein-rich breakfast that tastes like pudding and lets your morning start warm and satisfied.
In Phase 4 of your protein diet you're looking for a sustainable balance between protein and substantial carbohydrates, and these baked oats deliver exactly that. The oats and banana provide fibre-rich, slow carbohydrates for steady energy, whilst the chocolate protein powder, egg and quark give twenty-three grams of protein per serving. That balance of protein and slow carbohydrates keeps you satisfied for hours, so this protein-rich breakfast sits seamlessly into the steady rhythm of Phase 4.
Lovely with a spoonful of lean quark and a few fresh raspberries, or a layer of peanut butter over the warm top.
