Turkey bowl with wholegrain couscous and pomegranate
Balanced Phase 4 bowl with lean turkey, wholegrain couscous and fresh pomegranate.
This turkey bowl with wholegrain couscous and pomegranate is a fresh, colourful dish that lifts your mood straight away. Lean turkey strips seasoned with ras el hanout, fluffy couscous, peppery rocket and glistening pomegranate seeds come together under a creamy lemon-yoghurt dressing.
In the maintenance Phase 4 you're looking for meals that are light yet satisfying, and this bowl delivers exactly that. The lean turkey brings plenty of protein for muscle maintenance and a full feeling, whilst the wholegrain couscous provides fibre-rich, measured carbohydrates. The peppery rocket and fresh lemon-yoghurt dressing keep it light, whilst a hint of fruit from the pomegranate makes it a festive meal that perfectly fits a high-protein diet.
Lovely with a handful of roasted almonds or pistachios for extra crunch. A sprig of fresh mint through the bowl adds a refreshing touch, and a spoonful of hummus on the side makes it even creamier and more filling.
